On Tuesday, May 1st we held the formal groundbreaking for the
project. Over 40 people attended including Bremerton Mayor Bozeman, Poulsbo
City Councilmember James Henry, Port of Bremerton Commissioners Bill Mahan and
Mary Ann Huntington, Kitsap Transit Director Richard Hayes, Kitsap Housing
Authority Director Norm McLoughlin, Sheriff Steve Boyer, Bremerton DCD Director
Andrea Spencer and Poulsbo Public Works Director Jeff Bauman. HBA President
Jeff Coombe presided over the ceremonial ground breaking that had many HBA
members and other community leaders in attendance.
